    Lowering Mk1 GT

    Hello all...

I am new to the forum as I just purchased a Mk1 GT and would like to lower it. I am in need of some guidance as to the best way to lower her and where to source the correct parts. I am in California and I am unable to find parts in the USA. Any and all assistance is appreciated.

I can provide you the name of a guy in California who will be all over the best way to get the needed parts if you'd like. Plenty of options from new springs through to adjustable spring platforms. Depends what you need/want. Lowering blocks for the rear will work perfectly.

If there turns out to be no good option to import parts from Oz or the UK, springs are relatively cheap to get custom made or reset to desirable heights.

That would be great. Can you put me in touch with him? Would he be interested in spare parts? Like engines and trans and interior parts? I have the opportunity to get some with the GT that i bought.
