Ok, on a mk1 the clutch master cylinder attaches to clutch hose, which attaches to the slave, which drives the arm, should this be attached to the release bearing? all the literature I find says yes, but mine is not. The release bearing also catches on the shaft. Will this matter? I notice small imperfections on the shaft where the release arm has been rubbing...
