    Two speed heater

Hi i am currently restoring a 1966 mk1 super and cannot get the heater to work on two speed, the car had major electrical dramas which have now been repaired with relays and fuse box fitted. There must have been a resistor fitted somewhere in the system to run the the lower speed but it looks like this is no longer there. Can someone draw me a diagram of the circuit or explain what i should be looking for. Any help much appreciated.

    Heater wiring

The circuit consists of a Switch to turn on the Heater which goes via a 2 Ohm resistor. On the 64 model you pull out the heater control lever to give full boost which effectively by passes the 2 Ohm resistor. The resistor is a Ford 18464 or 18B310 but I have never seen one. You can use a Lucas 47170A Resistor which brings down the voltage to about 9 Volt.
