    OK all you doubting thomas's

    It will happen Feb 2011

Just off the phone from Vic Roads

Log Book will be about $5.00 (or may be nothing as they R not allowed to charge for material )

There may an increase in TAC fee (aprox $5.00)

I've sent the "Acceptance" letter to Vic Roads so CMOOC members on club plates will receive their log books

Heard on the grape vine that Club Permit Officers will require photos or a pyhical sighting of the car along with a current membership licence before they will sign the new log book form , is this correct

    Bit lost with the question
    1 U need 2 B a financial member of a car club eg CMOOC $40.00 PA
2 The car needs to be sighted by a commitee member twice a year
(ON CLUB RUN) to confirm the car exists

    Thats it

If you belong to a car club just for cheap rego I think that you R not really interested
    in enjoying your car

Being in a club to get cheap rego and enjoying your car are not mutually exclusive.

Semantics aside, I feel a little sorry for people that just want to enjoy their old car, but aren't necessarily into the hole car/car club scene. I personally don't think people should have to pay full rego for a car they only use once a month if they are not in a club or desire to attend club functions for example.

It's not really about the club, it's about people being enthusiastic about their cars and having a passion for something, IE getting out there and doing things rather than sitting on the couch watching TV.

    There, I've said it.

Mol, Ozzie, exactly as Swampy said, it's not directed at anyone, just a casual expression of opinion.

People do this all the time. If you don't directly mention anyone in a post or quote them, then it's taken as a general comment.
