    Still cold

    Weather here is still terrible,very cold still got lots of snow from before Christmas and more on its way ,pavements slippy roads slippy can not walk can not drive

    Same here Jim -9 last night , better than rain though .
    Its all nuts and bolts but I like it.

    No ,i think i am ready for some rain
    Sick of trying to keep trucks going in this weather,winch on recovery truck busy,battery flat air in brakes frozen and so on roll on spring

    I can feell the cold just looking at the pics!!

    Here is a couple of pics I took last week 30degC and we went to one of our local national parks. My daughter is standing next to the 'big tree' (so big I couldn't fit it in the shot) and it looks like I might have to wash the car.

    You can have some of the rain from up here. It hasn't stopped raining since the monsoon set in on new years day. Monsoon rain doesn't muck about either, it really hammers down.

    The tropical low that looked like turning into a cyclone - but didn't - is not helping either. Little bit on the blowy side...

    Where is that tree Swampy? Wonder if it's as big as the ones in the Otways? They is big.

    It 'd be about 15ks south of Waragul, they reckon near Thorpdale there was a mountain ash that is supposed to be Australia's tallest tree at 370ft
    but they cut it down in 1884.

    Mid to high 30s for the rest of the week, lucky the keg of home brew is cold!!
