front struts on my MK1

Just wondering about my front struts. My car is first registered 12/63 and has the round binnacle dash like a 64? It is a 1500 deluxe 4door and has discs on the front. On the top of the struts is pretty flat and does not seem to stick up like other mk1's.Could they be a later version disc? It has pedders struts at the moment.Rear shocks are not cutting it with the lowering blocks.Can you still get koni's for them front and rear?

What do you mean by being flat at the top of the struts? You mean the strut tops or the body? Either could have been replaced with many alternatives over the course of the cars life.
