Hi All
After some information about how to rectify a rattle/vibration in my gt remote changer. Seems to start around approx 3500 revs and gets worse as the revs increase in all gears. I believe it maybe a case of replacing the nylon bushes but not sure, if so where can i purchase them, also chasing a console boot.
Any suggetions would be greatly appreciate.

Firstly, remove it from the car, take it all apart and give it a full clean up. Theres a couple of sources of this rattle. Firstly check the gear lever at the base where the shoulder bolt goes through the lever. There is a nylon "top hat" bush that fits here and I've seen many worn out. You may be able to salvage the sleeve part and fit a fibre washer to replace the worn out face of the bush. I've done this with success before.
Also check the pivot ball itself. They can and do fall apart. Reassemble with some grease on all the moving parts.
If you have never removed and refitted one before they can be a little tricky to refit correctly. You need to have reverse selected - ie - the main selector in the remote locked into the reverse selector lever and guide that into the reverse selector in the gearbox. Fail to do this and you won't have reverse. Hope this helps. Sorry, no ideas for the boot.

Guys, I got a shift ball from these guys here in the States, worked a treat and sorted out the vibration I had with mine. Although someone had machined an aluminium one for mine so of course it made some noise.
I think it ended up costing just under $50 aud delivered, great communication and fast delivery also from these guys.
