The road car looks like it is a cross over model , so should have the A frame rear end with the airflow front and dash in it. It more than likely wont have the alloy panels or any of the alloy transmission housings as these had become optional by the time this car rolled of the line.

If you are seriously interested in this car try to get some more pictures of the critical area's so we can have a nose :drool

Ah - I see. Maybe he's yet to add it to his stable because he's been far too busy looking at the wonderful Bowden collection :yikes

hey guys, just gave him a ring.
seems a nice enough guy.

it seems the 65 model which is wrongly stated on the website is sold to a guy in queensland.

said the car is here today?

Hopefully the guy in queensland can fill us in when he gets it

Hi Greg - just a comment about your website. As your shop window to the world I think it really does need some work. I would say its a bit dated and not very slick. Probably wouldn't be an issue if you were selling bottom run cars , but for the market you are aiming at I think it gives the wrong image.

Love the Cortina's though :driving

thanks for that mate, the website is an on going process and we may totally change it up at the start of next year. its just it is linked with out database so it will need to be a full rehall which may be a bit of work.

thanks for compliment on cortina's

where in the uk are you, i was there not to long ago

I live in the South East , near Gatwick Airport. Quite a big classic car following in this part of the world , which is good.

yeah i know of the place. didnt get to visit it though on my short stay.
how is the market over there at the moment? still a little down?

I think is depends on what price bracket the cars are in. I'm sure folks that can afford to spend ?100K + are not affected , but below that I'm sure things are slowing down. People will spend the money on the right car , but they are more being more choosy. Excellent cars will always sell at the right price. Its the chancers with the over priced average cars that have to get a reality check.
