Q. What types of cars can you engineer?
A. NO. I cannot do imported japenese cars or any vehicle with a complete new fabricated chassis.
Q. Can you engineer my car?
A. That will depend on whether your vehicle meets with requirements
Q. How much does it cost?
A. Again this depends on the amount of modifications done.
Q. Can you engineer my car I'm in N.S.W.
A. No. I can only engineer for Victorian based registered cars

Another important thing that is sometimes overlooked is to consult an engineer BEFORE starting a project to find out exactly what can/should and can't/shouldn't be done.
Talk to multiple engineers too because some have different ideas on what can and can't be engineered and what tests need to be performed to engineer a car.

I just remember talking to some guys that wanted to charge my first born to do a chassis flex test on the Mk1. Then others said sure, no probs and didn't even mention a flex test.
The guy I went with in the end wasn't too bad really but was a bit funny on some things that other guys couldn't give a bugger about... Easy fixes really.

why this is something i have started is because that friend of ours now
has
VicRoads authority
hes a VASS although not everything is setup yet
i did say to him that i would setup a webpage promoting engineering
so thats why trhis is here

Undoubtedly a good idea Jewels. Fantastic way to promote a business too.
Many people drive round in unengineered cars and then wonder why they get defected when they get pulled over (touchwood). Like about every single imported car in Melbourne for a start...
I think people would be much more likely to get their cars engineered properly if there was a bit more promotion about what an engineer does.

...asking the right questions !
im thinking of having a rule like b4 ya post a question you must have
certain criterior
like model make year of car
adr listed on the iD plate
and what yer exact propsed mods are
