to put a 2 litre into a mk1 or mk2 you will need a new oil pan (sump)
these are already made by hi energy (http://highenergy.com.au/index.php?module=Website&action=Text&content=1105619905716-9875&parentContent=1105539231984-1177)
engine mounts will need to be altered as well
radiator in some cases will need to moved forward as well

Hey there. I recently bought a mk 1 cortina as a project car to play with, learn from and make my own but have run into a little problem that i just cant get a straight answer for anywhere. I also bought a 1978 mk 2 escort to use the 2 litre pinto engine in it to put in the corty. Could you please tell me what modifications i will have to make to the cortina to fit this engine and also what parts can i use off the escort as donor parts for my cortina.
thankyou. Cain.
