Price is a bit steep for a car that needs EVERYTHING. What are good ones (realistically) going for in the States nowadays?

Dunno these days Benny, but I believe the value of them in the states is steadily rising, and will keep doing so when the UK/euro markets look for cheaper alternatives to their local cars...Id imagine a similar RHD car in the UK would sell easily for that price.

Stuff sure gets around quick on the internet, I posted the link on
cortina-list@lotus-cortina.com yesterday morning because I can't keep them all (projects). I just wan't to get these cars out there where someone will enjoy them. The link for LoCort (BA74EK59845) that Jewels placed was a New England car at one time, my friend Kenny owned it for quite a few years. All of the 186 LHD U.S. delivered LoCorts will one day be found and exported to the highest bidder so jump on board early or you will certainly miss the boat...
p.s. north of $35k U.S.D. is what I heard for the Greg Schmitz desert LoCort ( http://www.lotus-cortina.com/photos/schmitz/schmitz.htm )
$15k U.S.D. seems a little rich, the owner says "Will accept reasonable offers"
I have found that its difficult to raise the asking price, its a lot easier to drop it.
