Hi guys.

I remember that there was a white Mk1 in an early 90's Street Machine mag, which I have always liked. It sported the stock rims (albeit widened), venetian blind and a few other period accessories. It was pretty stock looking. Then there was a all so slight hump in the bonnet......

Lifting the bonnet revealed either a 427 or 429 BB Ford lump and associated running gear - not what one would expect.

Does anyone know what issue this was in? (web searched has brough back nothing - am I dreaming??).

I have the complete collection of these mags, but some are back in Adelaide with my folks (including this one), and would like to have them ship that particular issue up to me.

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers, Dave.

It was sometime in the late 80's I beleive, it was a 63 2 dr white w/ red interior, and I think it had a 460 in it. The car shows up on one of the summernats videos also, cruising around.

I have found out that it was in fact a 460, used to reside in southern suburbs Brisabane, had a 1 1/2 inch tail pipe out back of a large muffler with the bottom cut out hiding a 3inch exhaust.

The only giveaways were the 14-6 inch wheels and its stance seemed a little unusual.

Possibly in the Street Machines "11 second street animal" era
