I measured mine up on the weekend. I'm gonna go with something similar to a 600x250x76mm end to end (not core size). I will be positioning mine as far to the left as possible and then leaving the space between the right most radiator support and the inner guard empty(ish). You can fit a cooler all the way across, but then you are restricting airflow to the airfilter somewhat. 250mm high is pushing it, but with a cutdown bonnet catch, it should fit pretty snug. Others might have more to add here but I think that will go close to fitting.

I tried to fit a SR20det GTIR top mount behind grill that had been cut and shut for front mount, It didnt quite fit height wise was just ok, but width the inlet and out let tubes were just touching if I remember correctly.

I found the best size is 450x230x65 (core size) you have to trim the valance away slighty but it fulls the front realy well and looks pretty stock if you put the grill back in.. unlike me :)

I had to remove my intercooler because it resticted the flow to the radiator too much and it was getting too hot. The intercooler was designed for maximum power, but it's like when they designed it they forgot theree still needed to be airflow for engine cooling. Shame, because I dropped alot of power removing it.
