Hi All,

I was at the vintage stampede at Barbagallo Raceway a couple of weekends ago but did not race - car was not ready.

But a very nice bloke took some snaps and he's made her look really good! How did he do that?

Anyway... I need more motivation to finish the small fiddly bits to get her track ready.... send abuse and encouragement NOW!:driving

Abuse from me would be hypocritical as my car has been in midst of restoration for 10 years. Your car is looking fantastic though. What size are your wheels as I'm looking at ordering some in the next few days. What offset?

Thanks Everyone!

The car will be setup for regularity events, motorkhana's and other not too serious tarmac events..etc. It has a 1660, with BCF3, twin 40's (34mm chokes) and BVH. 2000E box and 4.1 LSD.

These rims are 15x6 (195/50) for the front and 15x7 (205/50) for the rear (road tyres on these) - performance superlites.

The race rims are 15x7 all round with 205/50 R'spec on each corner (these are Gold and Silver) - performance challengers.

I will check the offsets and advise.

I've had this car 14 years and It's been a very slow project due to kids, mortage, job changes...and another lotus replica (Advise: FINISH ONE CAR AT A TIME!) .. and life in general actually...

No abuse from me either, just started putting mine back together recently, nearly 3 years after full strip down, rust removal/panel fabrication, sent to painter and now the fun stuff! Was keen to get to the Vintage Stampede, work got in the way again....Your car looks great; I'm in Narrogin and follow the cool old cars at Albany street races, Collie Motorplex and Barbagallo etc. When I see your car I'll say g'day!
