I am the guy from SA who has the EFI MK 1 240. It has a 1700 crossflow engine. It runs very well and is quite economical with good mid range torque. I think that the cam is an A3. I think that I have 65 BHP at the rear wheels. The job was done in 2000. It was finished at 1400 on a Wednesday and on Thursday I towed my camping trailer to Melbourne for the Ford 75 th Birthday Bash. I have just fitted a new VDOTacho and a VDO electronic speedo driven from a pulse generator on the gearbox into an original two hole dash. The rest is remoted to the LHS of the parcel shelf.

Mate,
Did I see this car at the Strath swap meet a few months back?
