The white 2 door above is a 62 car and is the oldest KNOWN Cortina in the world. There may be an eariler one out there still but as yet knowbody knows about it. Nice car. Only thing wrong is that is has straight sills fitted which, after your attention is drawn to them look very out of place. Apparently this is only a problem on door cars? Straight sills look fine on 4 doors - just what I've been told.

Sneseglaren, I squarely blame Bertil for not getting around to seeing your Cossie Cortina. He kept me so busy walking the dog and doing his washing and sweeping his driveway I had very little time left over for looking at nice Cortinas... Next time I'm over you can take me for a ride. He did let me drive some nice Cosworths though so I can't get too upset with him. :)
Bertil! How's things? Did you get that last travel diary I sent? Issue 7?
Must be snowing there by now? We had 37 degrees Monday and Tuesday. Then it rained all day Wednesday! Strange.
I'll send some pic's of the Estate soon. It's pretty rooted in the front chassis rails but you guys in Sweden would fix it in about 4 hours I reckon. Maybe 4 days, but it's certainly worth saving. Im pretty happy with it. Got any rear windscreens for Estates...? :) I'm trying to find some wood for the sides too. But I'll keep dreaming for that! Cheers and I'll be in touch soon.

Heee, yes but I had to whip him good to get him to sweep the driveway!
About the dog, I recon someone saying "she knows her way herself", meaning the dog walked mr Danger, not the other way around...
I am deeply soory for not letting you see the snedseglarn kamikaze machine. I like you so I only tried to keep you alive.
For your estate, yes I think I have some windows for you, drop me a list of what you need. For the other list I got I have actually started to look at it... pfff... Other wise I am fine! No snow yet, but veeery soon, I hope. Looking forward to the frosen lakes now and some serious trashing on the ice!

She certainly did know her way. Perhaps it me who needed walking!!
I do like being alive, so thanks for keeping me away from the kamikaze machine. driving mine is a bit kamikaze right now but for a different reason... It will all be fixed soon though. Hopefully.
Hmmmm, list of things for an Estate. Well, for a start we need 2 rear screens (neither of the 2 had one) and I think I need the hinges also and that pressed tin panel that hides the hinges. Get what I mean there? If not I can grab some pics or even Jewels might whack one up... But none of it is very urgent as it will be a while till I can start on that project. I have picked up a really good early sedan shell to chop the front off and attach to the Estate rear bits. Or something...
Mmmm, ice racing. Of course you know that next time I'm over it will be in the middle of your winter. And I'm not leaving until I drive on some a frozen lake!
