im waiting on the paperwork to come through. but its a complete car and when i bought it last week it was driven from the previous owners house to my shed. so a pretty good base for a project. its a 1500 super. standard except for the wheels (wide steels with bad brush paint yellow).

ive had a pretty hectic week so havnt checked it out properly yet but it seems fairly solid. Ive been working as a mechanic for 12 years now and this should be a nice change from me day job with Hondas. ive had many fords before but nothing this old.

searching for parts and info is how i found this site and looking at all the different cars and mods posted up here looks like this is the place to help me with info on what i want to do with the car. which isnt to stay stock

so hello everyone pleased to meet you. now time to search for info.

regards
Lloyd

Dont know if they did or not. its my 1st cortina and i dont know a huge amount about specs and things. but ill learn. the documents for the car should be with me in a couple of weeks.

its got super badges on the rear wings. and errrr i was told its a super so ill believe that untill i get the documents.

The dice were the deal sealer.

Cheers. im based in Guernsey in the channel islands. out reg plates dont have any letters and are black an silver even on new cars (tho they are plastic plates not pressed like this)

really upsets the UK coppers when we go to the mainland they dont believe us that they are legal. we also have no MOT or any form of vehicle testing. hence this old thing still being on the road.
