I have heard recently from a serious crossflow tuner in Guernsy (John Bunman 1800cc screaming Hill climbing MK2 Escort) that there may be some extra control over the rocker gear by the extended rocker post shown here. I believe a man called Ike from SPC in Horsham in the UK makes an aluminium extended set up similar to the one shown in the 3rd photo.

More money!

No not one of those although......hmmmm!

My valve / rocker geometry is quite trick but my rocker gear is the "conventional" steel posts and shafts.

I do have roller rockers too to try and improve the life of my guides (lessen the side loads imparted by the high lift cam) I run funny length valves and pushrods too, all adjusted for optimum lift.

Those conjoined rocker posts do look like they could be a pushrods equivilent to a wonder bra :D

I haven't spoken to him for a while , but I know he been picking up some more maching equipement etc , so I can't see why he couldn't do it. I'll ask next time I see him.
