Heater position help!

Hey guys,
Im a bit confused by my heater.
There are no marking what so ever as to where hot and cold are etc.
Its a SHIT picture, but you can see the LH knob on the bottom, RH on the top.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

On this computer screen I can see a black photo with a redish blob in the centre right of it... Hope it's better on other screens.

Haha, Sorry! It was a terrible pictures, Ive just got young eyes :-)

to put the heater controls in the radio fascia

That looks suspiciously like a heater out of a completely different car than a Cortina, either that or it has been put in upside down, the controls have been on the bottom of every dealer fitted Cortina heater I can remember seeing.
