Can anybody give me any information regarding the cortina that i have just purchased. The car is an original Mk 1 64? ( it has the seperate front indicators under the headlights) four door cortina consul GT it is original and complete except for the center console it has the 1500 motor with the factory extractors aswell as the dual throat weber,all the numbers match up, it had been sitting in a garage for over 20 years under lengths of timber an needs some restoring but the mystery surrounding this car is that it has a three gauge dash and i only know of one other one and that is the Bathurst winner of way back when driven by Bob Jane and some other guy i can't remember that to was a four door. It is at the Bathurst race track museum. Now anyone i mention the three gauge dash to becomes very interested and either says i' ve got something special or tries to talk me into selling it, so now i'm curious, i just wanted a little car to do up with my son but now i think i have something a little more than that, so what have i got ???
